June 18, 2010 Dierks Bentley Performs Hits, Showcases New Material on Concert Special “Soundstage: Dierks Bentley” Premieres Saturday, June 19, on GAC NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 17, 2010) – Country star Dierks Bentley recently hit the road for a whirlwind Up on the Ridge Tour that included 24 shows in 30 days while promoting his bluegrass album of the same name. Bentley chose to wrap the tour on the stage of the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and that special night was taped for Soundstage: Dierks Bentley, a one-of-a-kind concert special premiering Saturday, June 19, 10:00 p.m./Eastern on GAC. Backed by the critically acclaimed Travelin’ McCourys, Bentley performs some of his biggest hits like “What Was I Thinkin’,” and “Free and Easy” as well as “Train 45,” “Fiddlin’ Around,” “Up on the Ridge,” “Senor” (with Chris Thile and the Punch Brothers) and “Draw Me A Map” from his bluegrass release.
Soundstage is an innovative and prestigious live concert program that ran from 1974 – 1985 before returning in 2001.
