Travel Channel Celebrates 100th Episode of Its Emmy-Winning "No Reservations" With Return to Paris and One-Hour "What Were We Thinking?" Special

On Monday, Sept. 6th, Travel Channel will feature an all-day programming event celebrating the 100th episode of ANTHONY BOURDAIN NO RESERVATIONS.   The event features a full-day of the series’ most popular episodes, and culminates at 9PM ET with a one-hour “What Were We Thinking?” special. The special is followed by the 10PM ET premiere episode of NO RESERVATIONS from Paris, where the series began in July 2005.

In a move that further signifies her desire to strengthen and contemporize the network’s brand, Travel Channel president Laureen Ong has named Patalia Tate as Travel Channel’s senior vice president of marketing, creative and brand strategy.

Travel Channel Bows Its First-Ever Upfront as a Member Of the Scripps Networks Family Boasting Record Ratings and Delivery; Entertaining Returning Series; and Fun New Offerings

The 2010-2011 Upfront Season marks a first for Travel Channel as part of the Scripps Networks family, the recognized leader in lifestyle media. Travel Channel enters the 2010-2011 Upfront Season with its sixth consecutive quarter of year-over-year Prime demo and delivery growth. In Total Day, 1st Quarter 2010 was Travel Channel’s best quarter ever for both ratings among P25-54, and in HH delivery. In Prime, the 1st Quarter of 2010 was the network’s best quarter ever in delivery for both P25-54 and HH.
